Seeking Qualified Partners Worldwide
Founded in 1956, CTP has more than 70 years of experience in pump manufacturing.
As a Chinese state-owned pump manufacturer, CTP specializes in the design and manufacture of screw pumps, marine centrifugal pumps and gear pumps for demanding industrial and marine applications.
CTP occupies an area of approximately 69,000 squar
e meters, with a building area of approximately 37,000 square meters and around 500 employees.
Over seven decades, CTP has developed its own product series, accumulated extensive experience in pump design and manufacturing, and supplied products to customers in international markets.
Today, CTP is expanding its global distributor and partner network and is looking for qualified companies to develop the CTP brand and products in more international markets.
70 Years of Pump Manufacturing
CTP’s history dates back to 1956.
In the same year, CTP developed China’s first screw pump and marine centrifugal pump.
Over the following decades, CTP continued to develop and manufacture its own product series for different industrial and marine applications.
The company’s established product series include:
G Series — Eccentric Helical Rotor Pumps
2G Series — Twin Screw Pumps
3G Series — Three Screw Pumps
C Series — Marine Centrifugal Pumps
KCB Series — Gear Pumps
These products cover applications across marine, shipbuilding, oil & gas, petrochemical, power, chemical, metallurgy and other industrial sectors.
Built on International Technology and Developed Over Decades
CTP’s technical development has included the licensed introduction of technologies from established international pump manufacturers.
In 1984, CTP introduced and licensed three-screw pump technology from Allweiler, Germany.
In 1993, CTP introduced and licensed technologies for eccentric helical rotor pumps and twin screw pumps from Bornemann, Germany.
In 1994, CTP introduced and licensed technologies for marine centrifugal pumps and gear pumps from Taiko, Japan.
These technology introductions significantly expanded CTP’s product capabilities.
The technologies introduced covered approximately 30 product series and 1,300 specifications, all of which obtained the corresponding production licenses.
On this technical foundation, CTP continued to develop, manufacture and expand its own product portfolio through decades of engineering, manufacturing and application experience.
The company’s subsequent development has not been limited to the originally introduced technologies. CTP has continued to develop its own product series and manufacturing capabilities to meet different customer requirements and operating conditions.
Manufacturing Capability and Quality Assurance
Seven decades of manufacturing have given CTP extensive experience in pump design, production and testing.
CTP has established manufacturing and testing capabilities for industrial and marine pumping equipment.
Its approximately 69,000-square-meter site, 37,000-square-meter building area and workforce of around 500 employees provide the manufacturing base for its products and project orders.
CTP’s experience and manufacturing and testing capabilities support the production of pumps according to applicable technical specifications, operating conditions, inspection requirements and project standards.
CTP also has experience in military and defense-related manufacturing programs, where products are required to meet strict technical, manufacturing, inspection and quality requirements.
This experience forms part of CTP’s broader manufacturing background in demanding applications.
Marine Pumps and Classification Certifications
Marine and shipbuilding applications have been an important part of CTP’s product development and manufacturing history.
For applicable marine products and projects, CTP can provide classification certification from internationally recognized classification societies, including:
ABS · BV · RINA · DNV · LR · NK · KR · CCS
The applicable certification depends on the specific pump model, project requirements, vessel type and classification rules.
CTP works with customers and partners to provide relevant technical documentation and certification for projects where classification approval is required.
CTP’s marine pump experience supports applications including:
Shipbuilding
Marine Equipment
Vessel Machinery Systems
Marine Engineering
Offshore Applications
Oil and Fuel Transfer
Cooling Systems
Ballast Systems
Other Marine Pumping Applications
Participation in China’s Pump Standardization
CTP has also been involved in the technical development and standardization of screw pumps in China.
CTP was a principal drafting organization of GB/T 10886-2019, Three Screw Pumps, a Chinese national standard.
Official National Standard:
国家标准 – 全国标准信息公共服务平台国家标准 – 全国标准信息公共服务平台
CTP has also participated in the development of national standards related to screw pumps and marine pumps.
The Secretariat of the Screw Pump Subcommittee of the National Technical Committee on Pumps Standardization (TC211/SC2) is located at CTP.
