Gear Pumps

CTP Pumps manufactures 5 series of gear pumps engineered for the transfer of lubricating oils and use in hydraulic transmission systems. Applying advanced arc tooth design in a herringbone arrangement, our gear pumps deliver smooth, low-noise operation with evenly distributed tooth loading — resulting in longer gear life and reduced vibration compared to conventional involute tooth designs.

Each series is optimized for specific flow, pressure and installation requirements, covering horizontal and vertical configurations. CTP gear pumps serve as lubrication pumps, transportation pumps and pressure pumps across shipbuilding, power generation, metallurgy and general industrial machinery applications.

Design Features

  • Fewer gears and compact size
  • Smooth transmission with low vibration and pulsation
  • Good load distribution due to herringbone tooth design
  • Low noise and long service life

Application Fields

Gear pumps are widely used in lubrication and hydraulic systems, as well as for oil transfer and circulation. They are also commonly applied in the petrochemical and chemical industries, marine and shipbuilding, and various industrial machinery.

Media To Be Transferred

Suitable for conveying lubricating oil or other liquids with similar properties that are free of solid particles and fibers and non-corrosive, and can also be used for hydraulic transmission. It can serve as a circulating, conveying, and pressurizing pump in various industrial fields.

Product Range

Specs highlight: Max 30 m³/h · Max 0.6 MPa · Max 80°C

Standard horizontal gear pump for medium-flow lubrication duty. The most widely used series for centralized lube oil supply systems in shipbuilding and industrial machinery. Handles viscosities from 5 to 1,000 cSt.

CTP NHG series horizontal gear pump

Specs highlight: Max 20 m³/h · Max 1.6 MPa · Max 80°C

High-pressure horizontal gear pump for hydraulic transmission and pressurized lubrication circuits. Rated to the maximum 1.6 MPa in the CTP gear pump range. Shares the NHG’s proven design with upgraded pressure-rated housing.

CTP NHGH series horizontal high-pressure gear pump

Specs highlight: 16–55 m³/h · Max 0.6 MPa · Max 80°C

Vertical-mounted gear pump for the highest flow in the CTP gear pump range — up to 55 m³/h. Vertical installation enables direct drive from overhead motors and compact tank-top mounting. For high-volume lube oil transfer systems.

CTP VG series vertical gear pump

Specs highlight: 1.1–58 m³/h · Max 1.45 MPa · Max 80°C

Standard horizontal gear pump covering the widest individual flow range in the CTP lineup — 1.1 to 58 m³/h. For lubrication and hydraulic pressure applications across a broad range of industrial machinery.

CTP KCB series horizontal gear pump

Specs highlight: 1.1–58 m³/h · Max 1.45 MPa · Max 80°C

The 2CY is a widely recognized standard for Chinese-manufactured gear pumps used in lubrication and hydraulic systems. Same performance envelope as the KCB, offered as an alternative model designation for compatibility with specifications written to the 2CY standard.
