Meet the CTP team
CTP Pumps will be exhibiting at MIMEX 2026, the Malaysia International Marine Expo, 17–18 November in Hall 2 of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), at Booth A081. We look forward to meeting offshore oil and gas companies, EPC contractors, FPSO and FSO operators, oil terminal operators, tanker and offshore support vessel operators, and shipyards.
Malaysia has a mature offshore oil and gas industry, with floating production and storage units, oil terminals and an offshore service fleet. Pump duties range from crude and product transfer to the fuel, lube and sea water systems on board the vessels that support offshore work.
Founded in 1956, CTP builds twin screw, three screw, marine centrifugal and progressive cavity pumps in Tianjin, China. Bring your process data to Booth A081 and discuss the options with our engineers.
APPLICATION 01
Twin screw pumps: W, SW, V, SV & HPW Series; HW for multiphase
On floating production and storage units, crude and product transfer duties combine changing viscosity, varying suction conditions and long running hours. Twin screw pumps are self-priming, deliver low-pulsation flow and tolerate entrained gas and impurities.
CTP’s twin screw family extends to 2,700 m³/h, 10.0 MPa and NPSH as low as 1.5 m. W, SW, V and SV cover crude and product transfer; HPW covers higher pressure. Where the stream contains significant gas as well as liquid, the HW Series is designed for gas-liquid multiphase service, selected against gas volume fraction, suction and discharge pressure.
See our twin screw pump range and the guide to screw pump selection for oil and gas applications.
APPLICATION 02
Twin screw & three screw pumps
Terminal and refinery duties include tank-to-tank transfer, loading and unloading, and movement of crude, fuel oil, diesel and heavier products. One pump may be expected to handle more than one grade, so the selection starts from the full viscosity and temperature range.
Twin screw pumps suit high-capacity transfer and viscous or gas-containing products. For clean fuel oil and lubricating oil, CTP’s SN, 3G and SPF three screw pumps provide smooth, low-pulsation flow.
See the cargo oil transfer pump page for loading, discharge and stripping duties.
APPLICATION 03
Three screw pumps & marine centrifugal pumps
Offshore supply and support vessels need the same engine-room systems as any ship, often under heavy duty cycles. Fuel oil supply and main engine lubrication run on three screw pumps: the CTP family reaches 575 m³/h, 21.0 MPa and 7,000 cSt, with SN, 3G, SZ and SPF as core series and SM for higher pressure.
Ballast, sea water cooling, bilge, fire and general service run on marine centrifugal pumps. CTP’s marine centrifugal family covers flows up to 5,000 m³/h and heads up to 270 m, designed for 60 Hz ship power: ESD, EMD and EMC for ballast and sea water, EHC and ESC for cooling, EHS for self-priming bilge duty.
See the three screw pump range, the marine centrifugal pump range and the marine and shipbuilding overview.
APPLICATION 04
Progressive cavity pumps: G, EH, ER & EU Series
Oily sludge, waste oil and solids-laden fluids from vessels, terminals and offshore facilities need a pump designed for contamination and changing viscosity.
CTP’s G, EH, ER and EU progressive cavity (single screw) pumps handle sludge, oily residues, fibrous and solids-laden liquids and high-viscosity fluids. Rotor surfaces can be hardened for abrasive duty and the stator elastomer is chosen for the liquid.
See the progressive cavity pump range and our progressive cavity pump selection guide.
Long lead times, discontinued models or difficult spare-parts supply can make a replacement necessary on an operating facility or vessel.
Bring the existing nameplate, datasheet or installation drawing to Booth A081. Our engineers review flow, differential pressure, viscosity, temperature, connections, footprint, sealing and motor data against a matching CTP model.
The aim is to confirm that the proposed pump is technically suitable for your actual system, not only a similar model number.
