Centrifugal Pumps

CTP Pumps introduced marine centrifugal pump manufacturing technology from Taiko, Japan in 1994. Engineered specifically for the demands of ships and offshore platforms, our centrifugal pump range covers 12 series spanning cooling water, ballast, fire-fighting, bilge, sanitary and lubrication duties.

Every series is designed to meet international marine standards, with approved certifications from BV, CCS, DNV, GL and LR — the world’s leading classification societies. Our designs account for the full operating environment of a vessel: 60Hz power supply, dynamic loads from inclination and ship movement, and the need for reliable self-priming at sea.

Design Features

  • The rotor is designed for 60 Hz, therefore the pump operates far away from the critical speed, running smoothly with low vibration and noise. The product’s strength and stiffness are both designed according to 60 Hz operating conditions.
  • The bearing design life fully takes into account the additional loads caused by ship inclination and rolling, with a bearing design life of over 10,000 hours.
  • The unit noise is below 85 dB, protecting you from noise disturbance.
We currently offer air-driven, mechanical, and electric self-priming devices to meet self-priming requirements under different conditions.
