Thank you for visiting Booth N36

Meeting the oil and gas industry.
Moving projects forward.

On 8–11 September 2026, CTP Pumps exhibited at Iraq Oil & Gas 2026 at the Baghdad International Fairground, Booth N36. Thank you to everyone who visited our booth.

If you met our team in Baghdad, continue the conversation — send your duty data and we will follow up with a written proposal.

From crude oil transfer and refinery service to machinery lubrication and difficult waste streams, each duty calls for a different approach. Send your process data and discuss the options with our engineers. For a step-by-step method, read our guide to selecting a screw pump for oil and gas applications.

APPLICATION 01

Crude Oil Gathering and Transfer

W, V & HPW Series

For upstream operators, crude oil is rarely a simple, constant-viscosity liquid. Its properties can change with temperature, water content, entrained gas and field conditions. Suction pressure and required differential pressure may also vary between gathering, transfer and boosting duties.

CTP’s W, V and HPW Series twin-screw pumps are designed for petroleum transfer applications requiring positive displacement, strong suction capability and stable flow over a broad viscosity range. The portfolio covers horizontal and vertical arrangements as well as higher-pressure configurations, allowing selection around the actual installation and operating conditions.

Send your process data and our engineers will review the crude-oil properties together with minimum, normal and maximum operating conditions.

APPLICATION 02

Multiphase Production and Associated-Gas Applications

HW Series

Where an upstream stream contains significant quantities of both gas and liquid, it should not be treated as a conventional liquid-transfer application.

CTP’s HW Series twin-screw pump is designed for gas-liquid multiphase service in oilfield production and upstream applications where the incoming stream may contain oil, water and gas.

Correct selection depends on more than liquid flow. Gas volume fraction, suction pressure, discharge pressure, crude-oil viscosity, water content, temperature and the expected operating envelope all need to be considered. We welcome enquiries from operators, engineering companies and package suppliers working on multiphase gathering or boosting duties.

APPLICATION 03

Refinery and Petroleum Product Transfer

Twin-screw & three-screw pumps

Refinery service can mean very different liquids: crude oil, fuel oil, diesel, gas oil, heavy oil, asphalt or other petroleum products. The correct pump technology depends on the liquid.

For higher-flow petroleum transfer, viscous products or duties with demanding suction conditions, CTP twin-screw pumps can be evaluated.

For clean fuel oil, lubricating oil and other clean lubricating liquids, CTP’s SN, SM, 3G and SPF Series three-screw pumps provide smooth, low-pulsation positive-displacement flow. The SPF Series is suited to higher-viscosity oil duties, while other configurations cover higher flow or higher differential pressure according to the application.

Viscosity, lubricity, temperature, solids, gas content and suction conditions determine whether a three-screw, twin-screw or another pump principle is technically appropriate.

APPLICATION 04

Tank Farms, Terminals and Loading / Unloading

Twin-screw pumps

For tank farms and petroleum terminals, pump duties may include transfer between storage tanks, loading and unloading, movement of refined products and transfer of viscous petroleum liquids.

CTP twin-screw pumps are particularly relevant where the application combines high transfer capacity, changing viscosity or positive-displacement characteristics.

CTP can review the complete transfer system, including suction arrangement, tank level, product temperature, viscosity range and required discharge pressure. This is especially important when one pump is expected to handle more than one petroleum grade.

APPLICATION 05

Lubrication Systems for Compressors and Rotating Equipment

SN, SM, 3G & related series

For compressors, turbines and other rotating machinery, the relevant CTP application is the lubricating-oil system.

Three-screw pumps are well suited to clean lubricating oils where continuous duty, smooth flow, stable pressure and low pulsation are important. CTP’s SN, SM, 3G and related three-screw series are designed for lubrication and oil-supply systems across a wide range of capacities and pressures.

For EPC contractors and rotating-equipment package manufacturers, CTP can discuss pump selection together with motor requirements, installation arrangement, sealing and project documentation.

APPLICATION 06

Oily Waste, Sludge and Fluids Containing Solids

G, EH & ER Series

Refinery waste streams, oily wastewater, sludge and some oilfield fluids can contain suspended solids or have highly variable viscosity.

CTP also manufactures G, EH and ER Series eccentric helical rotor pumps, commonly known as progressive cavity or single-screw pumps. These pumps are designed for high-viscosity, abrasive, solid-containing and difficult-to-flow media, making them more appropriate than precision three-screw pumps when contamination or solids define the application.

The correct pump starts with an accurate description of the medium.

Replacing an
existing pump?

Long lead times, discontinued models, difficult spare-parts availability or changing process conditions may make a replacement necessary.

Send the existing nameplate, datasheet or installation drawing. CTP can review flow, differential pressure, viscosity, temperature, connections, motor data, sealing and installation constraints.

The aim is to determine whether the proposed pump is technically suitable for your actual system.
